Biagio Stefani, 79, of Livingston, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Thursday, October 18, at 10 AM. The committal service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. His family will receive friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Wednesday, 4-8 PM.
Born in Istria, formerly Italy, he came to the US in 1950 settling in Newark; he has lived in Livingston since 1978. Biagio retired as a longshoreman for Local #478.
Predeceased by wives Lillian and Regina, he is survived by his beloved children, Jean Stefani, Marco Stefani and his wife Kim and loving grandchildren Jason and Justin DeVoe, Angela Stefani and two cherished great grandchildren; his brother Paul Elio Stefani and companion, Tess and cousins Aldo, Gino and Tina Stefani.
