

Carmine F. Ricci, 94, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Monday, June 24, 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be offered at St. Raphael’s Church, 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Tuesday, June 25, at 10 AM followed by the entombment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Carmine was born in West Orange and was a life-long resident there. Serving in the Army Air Corp during World War II, he attained the rank of Captain receiving the World War II Victory Medal, Army Commendation Ribbon, American Campaign Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the Army Occupational Medal. After his service to his country, he worked for J. Rosenblum & Sons designing commercial restaurant kitchens retiring over 20 years ago. He was a faithful communicant at St. Raphael’s Church in Livingston.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose, he is survived by his loving niece Christine Valvano, his devoted and loving great-niece, Renae Flanagan, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
