Elizabeth Dalton Jackson, 89, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Emeritus at West Orange. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be offered at St. Joseph’s Church, 44 Benvenue Ave., West Orange, on Wednesday at 10 AM followed by the committal service at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Born in Passaic, Elizabeth spent most of her life in Nutley and West Orange the past five years. She retired as Vice President of Chester Jackson Co. in Kearny, NJ. Elizabeth remained very active in her church and community.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Jean A., she is survived by her devoted children: J. Andre and wife Kathy, Maureen J. Morgan, Mark D. and wife Jean, Craig B., Gregory and wife Linda and Christopher and wife Elizabeth; Elizabeth is also survived by twelve loving grandchildren and twelve cherished great grandchildren.
