Gladys Butler, 86, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Inglemoor Care Center, Livingston. Her family will receive friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Wednesday at 10 AM followerd by the interment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Gladys was born in Dublin, Ireland and lived there before moving to West Orange with her beloved late husband, Martin H.; she moved to Livingston in 1981. She was a member of the Women of Irish Heritage, Cryan’s Association, Giblin Association, the Irish American Society, the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and she was currently a communicant of St. Philomena’s Church.
Surviving are her devoted sons, Sean and Patrick and her loving grandchildren, Meghan, Jameson, Emmett and Kevin.
