John Monaco

John Monaco, age 73, of Livingston, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday June 12, 2022. Born in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy. He grew up in Millburn and graduated from Millburn High School. He went on to Fort Lauderdale University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree.

John was a self-employed real estate investor for over 50 years. When not working, John loved spending time gardening at home and with his family and friends at their Jersey Shore house.

Beloved husband for 44 years to Cheryl Monaco (nee Panciello), cherished father of Jennifer and her husband Arthur J. D’Alessandro III and Julie and her husband Robert Halleck, loving grandfather of Adrianna, Sophia, Isabella, Olivia, Natalina and Lucia, devoted son of Natalina and the late Lorenzo Monaco, dear brother of Phyllis Disbrow and Mario Monaco. John will also be dearly missed by his nephews and extended family and friends.

The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, on Thursday June 16, 2022 from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael Church, 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, on Friday June 17, 2022 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery Westfield.
