

Karl A. Weber, 79, of East Hanover, NJ, passed away on December 9, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Karl was born in Orange, NJ, and he was a lifetime resident of East Hanover where he attended the East Hanover school system and graduated in 1962. He was an avid outdoorsman who respected nature and everything about the world we live in. He enjoyed fishing trips to Alaska with his friends, teaching his sons about nature, and the many trips and time spent with family and friends at his cabin in Pennsylvania. Karl was always known as a provider, a strong supporter, and a man who was always willing to help others. From starting Boy Scouts at a young age, all the way to becoming a Scout Master, he earned many distinguished awards throughout his 40+ years of service to the Boy Scouts, including achieving the Frontiersman Award. His greatest achievement though was his family, to him, spending time with his family was paramount.
Karl is survived by his wife of 54 years, April A. Weber (Hildebrandt), his sons Karl F. Weber (Maria), Adam S. Weber, and Eric B. Weber (Karen). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Sarah Elisabeth Weber, Nyasia L. Petti, Alexander B. Weber, and Theodore J. Weber, as well as his brother-in-law Frederick Hildebrandt (Cynthia), and his niece, Nicole Hildebrandt, and nephews Robert Hildebrandt (Samantha), Marc Hildebrandt and countless devoted friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 4-8pm at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave. Livingston, NJ. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, December 14th from 9-10am at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home with a prayer service to begin at 10am. Interment to immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
