Margaret A. Rehm

Margaret A. Rehm, 96, of Livingston, NJ passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022. She was born and raised in Newark, NJ before eventually settling in Livingston, where she resided for over 60 years. Margaret worked for the NJ Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau for almost 40 years.

Known as “Marge” to her friends and family, she enjoyed social gatherings with them. She was an avid bowler and participated in leagues for many years. She was also an excellent dancer and enjoyed her Friday night dancing with her friends. Marge was a long-time parishioner of St. Philomena Church as well as the Livingston Women’s Club.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles. She leaves behind a daughter, Patricia Shaver of Melbourne, Florida and a son, Robert and his wife Joanne of Livingston, NJ. Predeceased by her brother, Nicholas Lordi, she also is survived by her sister, Angela Lordi, sister-in-law Mary Jane Lordi and nephews Nicholas Lordi II and Michael Lordi. She also leaves behind her 5 beloved grandchildren, Christopher Shaver, Jessica Peverall (Jesse), Kelli Glynn (Michael), Andrew Shaver and Matthew Rehm (Alexis) along with 6 great grandchildren and a couple of grand nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 4-8 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10 am at St. Philomena Church 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ with interment to immediately follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ.
