Marie P. Mazzarone, age 97, of Whippany, NJ, formerly of West Orange, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday March 15, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel 100 Whippany Road Whippany, NJ, on Friday March 19, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ on Thursday March 18, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Marie was born in West Orange, NJ, and was a graduate of West Orange High School. She was employed as an Insurance Adjuster with the Home Insurance Company in Short Hills, NJ, for 11 years retiring in 1985. During WWII she worked for Edison Company in West Orange to support the war effort. Marie loved painting and photography. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband Louis P. Mazzarone. She is survived by her devoted children Louis J. (Ellen) Mazzarone and Joseph A. and Maria C. Mazzarone, her loving grandchildren Andrea, Laura, Patricia, Michael and Caroline, her cherished great-granddaughter Sydney her dear sister Marie T. Stewart and many loving nieces and nephews.
