Paul L. McCusker, age 78, of Bloomfield, NJ, retired Sergeant of the East Orange Police Department, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 29, 2024. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 4-8 PM.
Paul served as a Staff Sergeant in the Security Forces of the United States Air Force in Panama during the Vietnam War. After his discharge form the Air Force Paul joined the East Orange Police Department in 1970, retiring in 2008.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Sharon A. (nee Marshall) McCusker, his devoted children Tracey A. McCusker, Paul L. McCusker Jr. and Michael A. McCusker, his loving grandchildren Michael McCusker Jr., William McCusker, Luis E. Morales, Destiny A. Castillio, Ashely G. Reyes and Elaina C. Alessio, his dear brother Raymond and his wife Nancy McCusker and sister Loretta and her husband Raymond Plitnick. Paul is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
