

Robert (Red) J. Foley, of Bridgeville, Delaware. Born in the Bronx, NY, he lived in Livingston, NJ from 1959 until 2005, then moved to Delaware. Survived by wife Judith (nee Small) of 53 years who he met over a vanilla milkshake and burger at Seymour’s Luncheonette. Beloved father to Matthew (Noreen)of Livingston, Denise Ann of Vineland, NJ, Timothy (Laura) of Livingston, Robin (Daniel Foster) of Livingston, loving grandchildren, Katie, Megan, Declan, Allison, Jenna, Dylan, Tyler and Chris. Also, survived by his Aunt Patricia Robbins, her daughter Jacque, sister Lou Ann Dimick, her four children and many cousins.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Friday, February 3 from 3-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Everyone is asked to go directly to St. Philomena’s Church on Saturday for a 10AM mass. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
A Livingston Police Officer for 25 years, retired as Sergeant. He specialized as Firearms instructor and breathalyzer expert. Owned and operated his own trucking business for more than 40 years. An avid Roller Skating Racer, and cross country runner in his younger years. A classic car buff, he loved his 1954 Ford Crown Vic (Bobby’s Girl), and his 1935 Ford delivery truck (Betty Boop).
