Salvatore J. Pagano, 91, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday December 10, 2017. Born in East Orange, NJ, was a resident of West Orange, NJ for 50 years before moving to Toms River in 1995. Predeceased by his wife Henrietta “Dolly” (nee-Smith) and brother Russell Pagano. Sal is survived by his wife Dolores “Dee” of 31 years; his sister Helen and brother-in-law Dominick Magliaro of Toms River; his three children Debra Cohen , Renee Betz, and Vincent Pagano; his six grandchildren Michael & Brian Cohen, Brianne Betz and Regina Betz-Teliszewski, Vincent Pagano Jr. and Maxine Webber; and 6 great-grandchildren; his step-daughter Cindy Simione and step-son Michael Chiaravallo.
Mr. Pagano is a World War II Navy veteran having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign on the vessel USS Caswell as an Electricians Mate. Salvatore worked for the Coca-Cola bottling company for over 35 years, retiring as a Coca-Cola distributing route owner servicing Bloomfield, Bellville, Nutley and Newark NJ.
