He was the beloved son of Antoinette and Dominico Zecchino, and one of three siblings, including his older brother, Andrew, and his younger brother, Albert.
Vincent proudly served his country as an Airman First Class Airplane Electrician in the United States Air Force. He later built a dedicated career as an HVAC engineer at Howard Savings Bank. Vincent enjoyed staying active, whether through long walks, swimming at the Jersey Shore, or traveling with his late wife, Madeline especially on trips to Colorado to visit his late brother, Albert. As a devoted Catholic, he was a longtime usher at Saint Philomena’s Church, where his faith and service were deeply cherished. Above all, Vincent loved spending time with his family. He took great joy in attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and his granddaughter Brianna’s dance recitals. He also had a well-known sweet tooth and never had a dessert he didn’t enjoy, particularly a generous slice of cheesecake. In his downtime, Vincent could often be found working on puzzles, completing word searches, or relaxing with classic Western movies, a good classic comedy and Saturday morning cartoons.
Vincent is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Madeline, and his brothers, Andrew and Albert. He is survived by his loving son, Vincent Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Geri; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Brianna, and Joseph.
