A Kathleen Cleveland

Kathleen Spall Cleveland died April 4th at North Shore Health Care in Loveland. She was born January 18, 1921 in Denver to William and Opha Tracy and was raised northeast of Galeton on the family homestead. Kathleen married John Spall on January 14, 1942 in Greeley. They moved frequently with Great Western Sugar Company. John died December 4, 1970. At that time Kathleen went to work for Great Western and became an executive Secretary in Denver. She retired in March, 1983. On February 25, 1983 Kathleen married James Cleveland. They moved to Mesa, Arizona and enjoyed retirement until he died on February 14, 1996.In October, 1996 Kathleen moved into the Village Place in Longmont. She had many good friends there and regretted having to move. Kathleen's joy was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Bettie (Dave) Dinsmore, sons John James (Barbara) Spall, and Charles (Julie) Spall; grandchildren Kathleen (Kerry) Felix, Mike (Tara) Dinsmore; Sherri (Ed) Rush, David E. (Sunda) Spall, Jonathan and David J. Spall, Mike and Jim Buchalski; great grandchildren, Zachary, and Dylan Dinsmore, Jeremy Felix, Michelle Buchalski, Sophie and Sarah Rush and Samantha Spall.She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers James and Richard Tracy and two sisters, Vera Filleman and Opha May. Her surviving siblings are William, Evelyn, Raymond, Daniel and Timothy Tracy. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm April 7, 2010 at Howe Mortuary 439 Coffman, Longmont. The funeral service will be held on Thursday April 8, 2010 at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church, 350 11th Avenue, Longmont. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley. Contributions may be made to Boulder/Broomfield Hospice or Pathways Hospice or Meals on Wheels in Longmont.
