She was born June 30, 1925, in Oberlin, Kansas and moved to Denver after graduating from high school where she worked at the Central Bank in Denver. She met her husband Bob, and they married on June 9, 1949. Bob was in the navy, and they lived in Denver, Washington and Minnesota, but finally made their final home in Arvada, Colorado along with their 3 children. Bernie got her real estate license and became a realtor. After retiring, Bernie and her husband Bob enjoyed traveling with their 5th wheel. Bernie enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to garage sales and thrift stores and spending time with friends.
She is survived by her son Bob, daughter in-law Martha and grandson Bill, daughter Susan, granddaughter Allison and great granddaughter Bella, daughter Kathy, son in-law Dave and granddaughter Chrissy. Bernie was proceeded in death by her husband Bob, son in-law Wayne, grandson Bobby, and granddaughter Jennifer. A service will be held at a later date.
