Brenton was born in Aurora, Colorado in 1985 and moved to Lyons in 1993, where he attended and graduated from Lyons High School in 2003.
Brenton had a loving, spiritual soul and a great deal of empathy for others. He was an exceptionally talented musician, who loved playing guitar, writing music and lyrics, and jamming out, either alone or at open mics. He was a talented visual artist as well, drawing with ink and pencil mostly. He loved creating characters and writing stories for them. He always had a vivid imagination, loved video gaming, and was a huge Star Wars fan. The force will be with him ... always.
Brenton is survived by his mother Deborah, brother Nathan, sister-in-law Lane, and nephew Kaleb. Brenton was much loved and will be missed by family and friends, who will miss his conversations.
Brenton was preceded in death by his father Daniel, grandmother and grandfather on both sides of the family, and an aunt.
Our hearts are broken, he was a big part of our lives, but he will forever be with in our hearts, his music and his art. Finally Brenton you got your wings, and you can finally fly and be free.
You will forever be missed.
A Celebration of Brenton's life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11 AM at LaVern Johnson Park in Lyons.
