Cora M. LiBrize

Cora LiBrize left this earth 50 days before her 90th birthday. She died peacefully at Longmont United Hospital on Aug 10, 2018 from complications resulting from a broken ankle and a stroke. Cremation will be handled by Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, Longmont CO. She was born in Petersburg, VA on Oct 20, 1928 and lived most of her life in Niagara Falls, NY. She attended St Mary's High School and was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church. Cora worked at Ball Aerospace in Niagara Falls for many years and after moving to Colorado in 1998, worked at Ohmeda Medical until she retired. Cora is survived by her children Theresa Davis and husband Jeff (Longmont, CO), Anne Rice (western New York), and Bernard LiBrize (Pueblo, CO). She was beloved by her grandchildren Christopher Davis and wife Jaimie (Frederick, CO), Matthew Davis and wife Kaitie (Thornton, CO), Rachel Curran and husband Jamie (Longmont, CO) as well as Richard Rice, Donald Rice Jennifer Rice (all of western New York). Cora also has several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Veronica Coleman (Maryland) and her cousin Virginia Agugliaro (Michigan). She leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Cora was preceded in death by her husband, James A LiBrize and her son James A LiBrize, Jr. Please join Cora's family and friends for the recitation of the rosary on Monday, August 13 at 5:30 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St, Longmont, CO 80501 to be immediately followed by a reception honoring Cora's life.
