Dallas Leroy Schneider

Dallas Leroy Schneider, 87 of Longmont, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026. Dallas is survived by his loving wife, Marge, and his children, Linda (Tim) Moore, Steve (Cindy) Schneider, Dan Schneider, David (Sheila) Shaklee, and Don (Lyn) Shaklee. Dallas is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dallas grew up on the family farm south of Longmont, graduated from Longmont High School, honorably served in the United States Army, and was a lifelong resident of Longmont. Dallas was an automotive expert and enthusiast, painting cars, and later owning and operating Quality Transmission & Auto Service in Longmont. Dallas’ hobbies included drag racing, truck pulling, boating, camping, and anything family-oriented. Dallas was well known for making anything go fast. Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, Henry “Hank” Schneider and Eleanor (Rodenberg), and all 6 of his siblings, Allen “Shorty, David, Dennis, Jerry, Ronald “James,” and Susie Schneider (Judson), and granddaughter Lori Shaklee. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM, and funeral services will be at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. A graveside service and internment will be at Mountain View Cemetery at 10:00 AM. A luncheon reception and celebration of his life will take place immediately following at the Elk’s Lodge, 306 Coffman St., Longmont, CO.
