Deanna Sammons-binns

DeAnna Sammons-Binns of Firestone, died May 24, 2008, in Weld County, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. She was 40.DeAnna was born January 14, 1968, to Danford E. Sammons, Jr. and Karen E. Winter Sammons in Great Lakes, Illinois.The family grew up in many different areas, but largely in the Rhode Island area. She graduated with a BA in Business Management from Bridgewater State, Rhode Island.In 1998, DeAnna moved to the Longmont area from Newport, Rhode Island. She married Todd Binns on October 18, 1998 in Denver.First and foremost DeAnna, was a devoted and loving mother. She was a vibrant, caring, dedicated professional and was greatly respected by her collegues at Verisign as a Senior Sales Director. Surviving is her mother, Karen E. Sammons and special aunt, Sheila Winter, both of Newport, Rhode Island; her father, Danford E. Sammons, Jr. and wife, Karen L. of Dayton, Ohio; son, Nathaniel Binns and daughter Alexandria Binns, both of Longmont; brother, Danford Sammons, III and his wife, Carol of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Deborah Tatro of Cranston, Rhode Island and Emily Sammons of Dayton, Ohio; former husband, Todd Binns of Longmont; special friend James ""Sean"" Antill of Firestone; and childhood and best friend, Nicki LaMonica of New Zealand.No visitation hours will be held.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 29, at LifeBridge Christian Church, with Roger Manning officiating.
