Delores Ann Ashby

Annie grew up in Winterset Iowa and eventually made her way to Colorado, her forever home. Annie spent most of her working life in retail where she could interact with people. Annie had an infectious smile and laugh and a true passion to help others. While working in retail, Annie met and married Ed Ashby. They were married on June 28th, 1986, and never looked back. Annie was the family rock with her never wavering dedication, strength, and love.

Annie’s true passion was none other than the Rocky Mountains. There was little in this world that could make her happier than a ride in the mountains, the wildlife, and the changing colors of the Aspens.

Annie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, George Edmon Ashby; loving children Kirtus Hart of Longmont Colorado; and Kyle (Darla) Hart of Texarkana, Texas; grandson Kristopher Hart of Greeley Colorado; sister Georgia Lee Harpole of Winterset Iowa; as well as three wonderful nieces. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by a son, Kristopher Hart.

Celebration of Life will take place Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St in Longmont.
