Our loss is Heavens gain as we say goodbye to our beautiful “Liz”. Elizabeth Anne Arroyo-Rodriguez, 58, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, September 23, 2021, after a long illness. She fought like a warrior with dignity and grace. Born on July 26th, 1963, in Boulder, Colorado, she lived her whole life in Boulder County close to the family she loved dearly. Liz attended Sacred Heart of Jesus in Boulder for kindergarten and grade school. Her family then moved to Longmont where she attended Longmont High. She was an honor student and played on the tennis team. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder studying prelaw. Becoming a mother was her greatest joy. Her girls were the light of her life and she loved staying home with them. She worked many years at the family restaurant, “Tia Bennie”, the schools as a paraprofessional and her favorite, working at the Boulder County Jail. Liz played the piano, loved spending time with her grandchildren and cheering on the Raiders every Sunday. She is preceded in Death by her Father, Eloim Anthony Arroyo. She is survived by her daughters, Sevanna Rivera (Jesse), Esperansa Rodriguez, and Adrianna Rodriguez, all from Longmont, her mother, Eleanor Arroyo (Eloim) of Longmont, sister Cindy Arroyo-Orona (Russel) of Longmont, brother James Arroyo (Rhonda) of Broomfield, Grandchildren, Jesse, Elijah, Daniel and Emiliana, nephews, Samuel Orona, Anthony Arroyo, and nieces Josephine Orona and Isabella Arroyo. Liz was a gentle soul with a wicked sense of humor. Her kindness touched many lives and will not be soon forgotten. She had great faith in the Lord and loved her religion. Rest in peace beautiful Liz, you will be missed. A memorial Mass is planned for Friday, October 1st at 10 a.m., St John the Baptist, 323 Collyer Street, Longmont, Colorado followed by a celebration of life in Benedict Hall.

Sevanna, Esperansa, and Adrianna I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of your Beautiful Mom. I no longer live in Longmont but loved when I would run into your Mom there at times and it was like no time had passed!

Her greatest love and joy was you girls, that I know for sure! Then... came the grandchildren and oh my goodness, she lit up more talking about her grandbabies!

I will treasure our friendship that started as classmates and the love and kindness your Mom always showed to me! I count myself blessed to have known such an amazing woman and will miss her so much!

Rest in Heaven Liz! Sending love, hugs and prayers to you girls and your family. God Bless! Love, Gloria
