Eric Patrick Wulchin

Eric Patrick Wulchin of Boulder, Colorado, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at his home. He was 19 years old.Eric was born May 13, 1990 in Longmont, Colorado to Steve and Benita (Bednorz) Wulchin. The family moved to Boulder when Eric was in elementary school. He graduated from Fairview High School in 2008. Eric had an interest and love for cars, and in his senior year attended part of his day in classes at the Boulder School District Technical program. Eric had recently begun working in the auto industry. He loved snowboarding, riding ATVs and water sports. He loved to travel and went on numerous trips with his family both in the United States and internationally. Preceding him in death were his grandfather, John Wulchin, and his cousin, Douglas Wardle, who was born the same year as Eric.Surviving are his parents of Boulder; his older brother, Kyle Wulchin of Boulder; grandparents, Lola Wulchin of Vienna, Virginia, and Ann and Pat Bednorz of Corpus Christi, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6739 South Boulder Road, Boulder, in St. Bernard Hall on Sunday, July 12, 2009, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Mary at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, with The Reverend Marc Mallick as Celebrant.
