

Evan Charles Pilkington of Longmont Colorado passed away on March 23, 2012 in Greeley, Colorado. Evan was born March 6, 1989 in Longmont, Colorado to Leo and Tammy (Herman) Pilkington. Evan attended Longmont Estates Elementary and Westview Middle School and
Silver Creek High School, where he played football, basketball, track and baseball, graduating in 2007. Upon graduation, he entered Chadron State College where he was a member of the football team and was tailback for 2 RMAC Championship teams. He currently was enrolled at the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in education.
Evan was involved in many sporting activities, but most of all, enjoyed working with children. He spent his summers working for the City of Boulder Recreation Center. He was an assistant football coach at Greeley West High School.
Evan is survived by his parents, Leo and Tammy Pilkington of Yuma, Arizona, his sister Michelle (Pilkington) Baszto and her husband Chris, his grandparents, Marlene and Gordon Cramer of Longmont, and Will and Alice Anne Pilkington of Longmont. His Girlfriend, Anastasia Morseman. He is further survived by numerous aunts and uncles; John and Jamie Herman, Steve and Lori Herman, Marisa and Roger Holmes, Andrew and Victoria Pilkington, Anna Mary and Leland Platt, Theresa and Richard Morison, James and Cathy Pilkington, Mark and Karen Pilkington, Judy and Rob Orbanosky, Chris and Julie Pilkington, Louis and Denise Pilkington and Brian and Angie Pilkington. He is also survived by over 30 cousins.
A Rosary Service will be held at Howe Mortuary on Thursday, March 29th at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 30th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
