

Frankie Cole of Longmont, Colorado, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Longmont United Hospital following a brief illness. He was 24 years old.Born Frank Robert Cole on July 26, 1984 in San Jose, California, he moved with his family to Colorado in 1991 and attended schools in Mead as well as Skyline High School and adult education.Frankie was described as a ""Gentle Giant""; a large, imposing figure but with an even bigger heart and warm smile. When he wasn't helping customers as a sales clerk at the Silco Barn Store, he could be found playing video games or watching wrestling with his brother, or entertaining his sister's children, or just enjoying his music. His family was proud of his recent strides in personal development, independence and maturity, and encouraged him along the way.He will be greatly missed by his brother, Johnathan Solis; sister, Rachel Osterman and her husband, Les, and their daughters, Alexis, Savanna, and Mahaila; his maternal grandparents, Robert G. and Donna L. (Mann) Cole; his step-father, John Solis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Frankie was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia ""Cindy"" Cole Solis, and an aunt, Debi Twiford.Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary, Longmont. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary, with Pastor Bill Hanlin of New Creation World Outreach Church officiating.
