Garin James Alderman

Garin was born at 27 weeks on April 1, 2013 to Brian and Deandra Alderman at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver. He weighed 1 pound 2 ounces, and was only 10 ¼ inches long. Garin fought hard during his six months and grew to be over 20 inches long, and to weigh just over 11 pounds. Garin’s name comes from German Folklore as a legendary Warrior. He showed throughout his fight he was a little Warrior.

He is survived by his parents, Brian and Deandra, and his sister Lyla all of Firestone. His grandparents, William Chris and Patricia Wirth of Greensburg, Kansas, and Don and Dorothy Alderman of Berthoud. Garin is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday October 4, 2013 at the Rinn United Methodist Church in Frederick, with Pastor Scott Phillips officiating.
