

He was born in Longmont, Colorado on February 20, 1958, the son of George T. Irwin and Irene M. (Cimino) Irwin, raised in the Tri-Town Area of Evanston, Colorado.
George went to school K-9 in Frederick, played trumpet in Junior High, then graduated from Erie High School, Class of 1976, during that time he played football.
He was an avid “GREAT” Outdoorsman, loved to fish, hunt and camp with family and friends. Among his many talents of raising and nurturing his animals, he was an excellent gardener and cook. A plumber by trade for 45 years as well as a “George” of all trades!!”
He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Nancy, married 44 years ago on June 24, 1978, daughter, Misty (Jason) Tuck of Missouri, son George (Danielle) Irwin of Roggen, Colorado, son Jacob Irwin of Roggen, Colorado. Two loved and treasured granddaughters, Michelle Buchalski and Stephanie Tuck, both of Missouri. His mother, Irene of Dacono, Colorado, brother Joe (Barb) Irwin of Wyoming, sister Vicki (Jack) Stonebraker of Arizona. A niece Erin (Irwin) Martinez and nephew Brett (Lisa) Irwin, 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew, all of Firestone, Colorado. Many cousins and numerous friends. Predeceased by his father, George Irwin and a nephew Joey Irwin, both being outdoor enthusiasts as well.
A memorial service will be held on June 28 at 2:00pm at Howe Mortuary in Longmont. A reception will be held in the Howe Event Center following the Memorial Service.
