Gladys Perdue

She had 2 sisters named Margaret Perdue and Thelma Scott. She also had 1 brother named Charlie Williams.

Gladys married Leo Perdue when she was 16 years old. They went on to have 3 children: Russell Perdue, Rhonda Perdue, and Randy Perdue. The kids were raised in Wyoming and Colorado.

When in Colorado, they lived in Lyons on the Heil Valley Ranch and Gladys worked in 2 different nursing homes. When they were on the ranch she helped with trail rides and cooked for the hay rides.

Gladys absolutely loved riding her horse, General. He was her soul animal.

Gladys later divorced Leo and in 1998, she moved to Cody, Wyoming to be near Russell and his family. Then in 2010, she moved back to Longmont, Colorado, where she lived out the rest of her life.

Gladys is survived by her son, Randy (Michaelle) Perdue of Idaho; her grandchildren: Kelly Carson of Wyoming, Amanda Perdue Black of Wyoming, Emily (Todd) Sandburn of Wyoming, Benjamin Perdue of Idaho, and Scott Perdue of Idaho; as well as 7 great grandchildren.

Gladys is preceded in death by her children: Russell and Rhonda Perdue; her ex husband, Leo Perdue; and her parents and siblings.
