Jack Kiyoto Tono, formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully at home in Thornton, CO on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the age of 94. Born and raised in California, he, his parents & siblings were forced to relocate from the San Jose area and interned at the Heart Mountain Internment Camp during WWII where he became part of what is now known as the Heart Mountain 63 (young Nisei men who resisted the draft, were arrested, tried and imprisoned). Jack is preceded in death by his wife Mary. He is survived by his children Roxane, Jacqueline, Nadine (Robert), Deborah (Jack), Douglas (Caryn) and his four grandchildren Kenji, Toshi, Kimiko, and Trent.
