Dr. James Roger Baker-Jarvis passed away on December 31st, 2011. He was a theoretical physicist at NIST for 22 years. He grew up in Lauderdale, MN with his nine brothers and sisters, received his master's degree at the U. of M Duluth, and his PhD at the University of Wyoming. He loved the outdoors and was an avid mountain climber, can ist, and bicyclist.He is survived by his wife, Karen, and his two children, Duff and Aquene.Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, January 7th at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel 326 Terry St. in Longmont. Reception will follow at FirstEvangelical Lutheran Church, 803 Third Ave., Longmont, CO.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Duff and Aquene's College Fund and can be sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
