Jeffrey Keith Opatril, passed away on October 14, 2025, in Colorado. Jeffrey was born on May 19, 1965, in Minnesota, to Ron Opatril & Gloria Nixdorf Blackwell. Jeffrey moved from Minnesota in 1971, he attended elementary school and Skyline High School, here in Longmont. After High School Jeffrey joined the Navy.
After a honorable discharge from the Navy, Jeffrey worked in manufacturing, as well as doing janitorial jobs. He was a Lutheran Church member. Jeffrey enjoyed playing in the fantasy football leagues, golf, his biggest thing was playing cards and winning. he also loved playing the trombone.
Jeffrey is survived by a daughter Alexa Opatril, his mother Gloria Blackwell, one sister Stefanie Opatril Ray, and his significant other, Ericka Zahradka. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many friends. Jeffrey is proceed in death by his father Ron Opatril, his grand - parents Clarence & Esther Nixdorf and Rudy & Marie Opatril, and his step – father Ben Blackwell.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel on Friday November 7, 2025, at 2pm.
