Jeffrey Scott Shumaker

Jeff was born June 16, 1960, in Waukegan, Illinois to Lynn Shumaker and Gloria (Radke) Shumaker.

Jeff graduated from Zion-Benton High School in 1978. He followed his father's footsteps into the printing industry where he managed printing, publishing, trading card manufacturing, and consumer promotion companies. Jeff worked as VP of Operations with Outdoor Expeditions International which aired on the Outdoor Channel. He has produced photography projects with Sports Illustrated, the US Olympic Committee, The Quarterback Club, NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, NASCAR, and The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and has produced print campaigns for several premier ad agencies in the country. Jeff, at the time of his death, was the Chief Operations Officer for Direct Edge in Denver and California. He will be greatly missed by everyone that has worked with him.

Jeff was a man of many talents, creative, innovative, and simply able to turn something ordinary into something special. His love of photographing wildlife, scenic views, and anything that tugged at his heart took him across the world. Jeff's most important attribute to this life was his love for his family, close friends, and co-workers. Jeff married Kimberly Dawn Kincaid on November 18, 2007, and together have fulfilled so many passions and shared dreams. They currently reside in Firestone, Colorado and Allenspark, Colorado. Jeff's love for his wife was beyond measure and felt by everyone blessed enough to witness.

Jeff is survived by his wife Kimberly Kincaid Shumaker; parents, Lynn and Regina Shumaker; sons, Brett (Kristina) Shumaker, Matt Shumaker, Dustin (Shannon) Grove; daughters, Lacey Grove and Myka Ashley; brother, Doug (Toni) Shumaker; sister, Debbie (Steve) Poffinbarger; grandchildren, Madison, Caleb, Hunter, Gabriel, Lillian Shumaker and Maddie Fletcher; great-grandson, Kamryn Ray-Lupe Stamper; nephews, Joel, Curt, and Grant Shumaker, and Connor Poffinbarger.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Radke and half-sister Barbie Nichols.
