Jimmy Wayne Tiff

Jimmy Wayne Tiff of Longmont, CO passed away August 16, 2018. He was 67 years old. He was born November 5, 1950 in St. Francis, KS to Wayne and Esther (Schauer) Tiff. He graduated from Longmont High School in 1968 and served in the US Army and in Vietnam. Jim was briefly married to Becky (Horton) Selby before marrying Nancy Fankhahuser on May 2, 1981 in Longmont, where they were together for 37 years before his passing. Jim also worked as a security officer at Boulder County Business Center before retiring in 2009. Jim was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the VFW. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, telling jokes, reading and studying history, and discussing politics. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Dallas Tiff, a sister Bonnie Tedesco, and a nephew Jaryd Tiff. Jim is survived by his wife Nancy, a son Jake Tiff (Caitlin), his daughter Natasha Tiff, his brother Don Tiff (Candyce), his sister Betty Culbertson, grandchildren Kaleb Tiff and Morgan Tiff, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Thursday August 23, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Military Honors will be rendered by the US Army and AMERICAN Legion Post 32 of Longmont. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Boulder County Veterans Center or Bethlehem Lutheran Church and sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
