Jo Marie Miracle

Jo Marie “Jody" was born on December 26th, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, to James Miracle and Stella Blanche Harrell. At the age of three, Jody and her family moved to Colorado due to her father’s battle with tuberculosis. She attended Longmont High School and graduated with Class of 1967.

Jody proudly built a long and successful career in the banking and corporate world. She began her professional journey working for a bank in Boulder, where she held many positions with dedication and pride. Through her determination and strong work ethic, she advanced from a receptionist to secretary to the president of the corporation – a testament to her ambition and perseverance.

Outside of work, Jody lived a life full of family, music, laughter, and creativity. She loved to sing, dance, cook for her family, and spend time camping and fishing. Her love for music was boundless, and she found great joy in performing with Mountain Melody in Boulder, Sweet Adelines, and then moved on to High Country Sweet Adelines of Denver and was proud to have won 1st Place in a World Champion Competition in Hawaii, in 1987; Receiving a gold metal, alongside many other metals throughout her years.

Jody full joyful spirit, generosity, and warmth touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son; David Mart Cantonwine, daughter; Amy Jo Kimble (Jerry). Grandchildren; Cody Cantonwine (Samantha), Cameron Cantonwine, Tyler Kimble (Bailee), Brandon Kimble (Shyanne). Great-Grandchildren; Tylee Cantonwine, Justin Cantonwine, Cooper Kimble, Kora Kimble, and baby girl Kimble arriving Spring 2026. Her brother Jim Miracle, Sisters; Janis L. Johnson, and Brenda D. Carr (Mike). She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel & Crematory, located at 326 Terry St., Longmont, CO 80501, on November 17, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Reception to follow.
