JoAnn Wagner

JoAnn Wagner of Longmont died on April 22, 2011 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 62 years old.JoAnn was born on January 6, 1949 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Robert and Lois (Newland) Jones. She married James Wagner on October 11, 1980 in Dacono. JoAnn and Jim moved to Dacono in 1982 and later to Longmont.She was a Nurse's Aid at St. Luke's Hospital and for a nursing home in Morrison. Following her nursing career, JoAnn was an Avon Sales Representative. JoAnn was a charter member of Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church where she also served as a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. JoAnn will be remembered for her love for her Lord, strong will and determination.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Jones.JoAnn is survived by her husband Jim Wagner of Longmont; her sons, Kenneth Foskett, Brian Foskett (Judit) and Paul Foskett; a grandson whom JoAnn and Jim adopted, Michael Wagner; her daughter, Pamela Wilson; her stepsons, William and Buck Wagner; a brother Jerry Jones and four sisters, Jean Lapari (Tom), Judith Jones, Janet Jones and Jodell Sears (Stanley).Visitation will be 4-6:30PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with family present to greet friends. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church, 1450 Martin Street in Longmont. Interment will be 2:15PM Wednesday, April 27 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church and mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
