John Anthony Gomez

John was born on April 24, 1963 in Longmont to John Gomez, Sr. and Edna Martinez Gomez. He married Sheri Altwine on November 8, 1989, in Las Vegas, NV.

John worked for both the City of Longmont and the City of Missoula, Montana. He also worked as a postal carrier, here in Longmont. Most recently he owned and operated ‘Cutting Edge Curb Company’. The company constructed decorative curbing for residential and commercial projects.

John enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones. He also enjoyed working on and riding his Harley.

Preceding him in death were his wife and his mother.

Surviving are his children; Amber (Dave) Dejmal of Wichita, Kansas; Krystal Gomez of Loveland and Ryan (Britney) Gomez of New Bern, North Carolina; his father John A. Gomez, Sr. of Longmont; sister Theresa (David) Dorian of Longmont; and two grandchildren Marcos Gomez and William Dejmal.

Visitation hours will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 4 at the Howe Community Room. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 5 at Grace Place Church, Berthoud, CO.
