Kathleen Cline

Kathleen Cline, of Boulder, Colorado, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2021. She was born on May 27, 1927 at her family’s farm in Delta, Iowa, and grew up on that farm with her seven siblings.

She married Dwight Robert Cline on December 20, 1952. They moved to Boulder, CO where they raised their children. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of opening and running an A&W in Lafayette, CO for many years. Later she nannied for several families and enjoyed all of the children.

Her family and friends were extremely important to her. She enjoyed square dancing with Bob, and they were avid Bronco and CU football fans with season tickets. Kathleen had a passion for gardening, and she had a green thumb with roses and anything that bloomed.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight and her son, Brent. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Douglas) Courtley of Niwot, CO, her grandchildren; grandson Jason (Melissa) Stevens of Kitty Hawk, NC, and their daughters Summer & Savanna Stevens, and her granddaughter Kate Stevens of Windsor, CO, and her children Landon & Harper Guden of Windsor, CO.

A private celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held at Howe Mortuary in Longmont. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in Kathleen’s name.
