

Born on June 16, 1942 in Grangeville, Idaho, Larry lived a life rich with love, laughter and family.
He is survived by his brother Bob Uhlenkott, sister Ronda Clovis, his wife, Linda Bowler, his children Michelle Larsen and Tyler Uhlenkott, and his stepdaughter Shauna Bowler Nashak.
In 2005, Larry retired from a 25-year career as a vibration engineer at Ball Aerospace. His retirement was spent traveling the world with friends and family and visiting his children and his beloved grandchildren Teagan, Tanner, Talan, and Kaedan.
Larry’s engineering career began after a distinguished career in the armed services. Drafted in 1963, Larry became a flight engineer in the army and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War.
In September 2015, his years of service were celebrated and memorialized when the Honor Flight Network flew Larry and fellow veterans to Washington DC to enjoy a day of community gratitude, recognition and respect.
Throughout his 84 years, Larry enjoyed an active life filled with volleyball, tennis and running. He was an avid sports fan with a passion for cars, which began when he was a child in Idaho
learning to modify Chevys.
Larry’s remains will rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO alongside his fellow honored American veterans.
