Lila L. Cohn

Lila L. Cohn passed away February 28, 2017 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 89 years old.Lila was born on January 17, 1928 in Idaho to John L. and Jennie H. (Huddleston) Tracy. She graduated from South High School in Denver.In 1947 she married Jimmy Cohn, Jr. in Denver. Lila was a resident of Dacono for 45 years before moving to Longmont for the past four years.She worked for the Denver Public Library doing their accounting for 25 years.Lila enjoyed ceramics, reading, sewing, fishing, camping and watching TV. She loved her grandkids and spending time with them.She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy; her parents and four siblings.Lila is survived by her son Steve (Debra) Cohn; her daughter Diane Berry; her grandchildren Jamie Cantu, Travis Reed and Aaron Cohn; and her dog BJ.A graveside service will be held at 9:15am Friday March 3, 2017 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, meet at staging area C. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
