Lila Susie Ann King

Lila Ann (Susie) King passed away on July 24, 2018, at her home. She was 65 years old.Susie was born on January 15, 1953, in Longmont, CO to Don Joseph Fidler and Maxine Verlee Bashor. She grew up in the Longmont/Lyons area. While living in Lyons, Susie was in involved with 4-H. She taught and led a baton twirling group named the Suzette's. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1971.Susie worked for the past 20 plus years doing residential cleaning. She converted to the Catholic faith in 2013 and it was a very important part of her life. Susie loved and was devoted to her animals.Susie was preceded in death by her parents, J and Verlee Fidler, and her sisters, Patty Billings and Laurie Kolb.She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Chelsea) Ribble of Denver, CO, and J Ribble of Denver, CO; her daughters, Sam Schott (Steve Moczygemba) of Lubbock, TX, Kelli (Jason) Mraz of Mead, CO, and Lindsay (Tyler) Wiles of Watford City, ND; ten grandchildren; her brother, John (Gus) Fidler; her sister, Dena (Gus) R of Lyons, CO; her brother-in-law, Arnold Kolb of Campion; and numerous nieces and nephews.A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. Inurnment will follow at Lyons Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at the Wildflower Pavilion at Planet Bluegrass, 500 W. Main St., Lyons, CO.
