

Loren Merrel Haworth went with the Lord, January 31, 2010 at Longmont United Hospital with his family by his side. He was born March 11, 1956 in Billings, Montana to Ernest and Eleanor Haworth. He grew up in Broadview and Billings, MT. Loren graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1974 and attended Eastern Montana College to further his education. He worked for Lynch Flying Service before entering the lending business. In 1976, he married Jeneane Russell and they had two beautiful daughters, Emily and Amanda. They moved to Longmont in 1982.On August 12, 1989, Loren married Pam Peppler. Loren worked as a home mortgage lender for 32 years and was associated with the Longmont Board of Realtors, Longmont Small Business Association and many other Longmont entities involved in real estate and home mortgages. He had been active in Gideon's International and is a member of the Elk's 1055 Lodge in Longmont and the Mended Hearts group of LUH.Loren loved playing his guitar, especially bluegrass music. He enjoyed fly-fishing, camping, airplanes, wood working, and Christmas. He was extremely proud when he became a grandfather, and treasured every moment with his grandkids. Loren is survived by his wife Pam, daughters Emily (Luke) Kunselman and Amanda (Lenny) Bustillos and three step children, Kelli, Courtney and Paul Krueger, all of Longmont. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Owen & Mia Kunselman and Alexia Bustillos. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Mable Kallem, Lorraine (Gene) Jackson, and Gail (John) Keeler, and 1 brother Norman Haworth, along with numerous nieces and nephews.Loren touched the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed by all!Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1000 15th Ave. Longmont, with Pastor Mark Peterson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
