Marc L. Clark

Marc L. Clark 70, of Johnstown formerly of Longmont passed away May 2, 2017 at his home. He was born February 10, 1947 in Boulder, Colorado to Gilbert and Myrtice (McMahon) Clark.Marc was raised in Longmont and graduated from Longmont High School in 1965. He also joined the US Navy in 1965 and served until 1969.Marc married Nancy Martin in 1971 and they were blessed with a daughter Kimberly, and they later divorced, he then married Kathryn Mikels in October of 1986. He was a computer operator for FAA in Longmont retiring in 2002.Marc was of the Christian faith, after retiring he volunteered and was an avid supporter of the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center. He was also a member of the Giddy up Riding Center and a barn buddy to older horses. Marc and Kathryn enjoyed riding their motor cycles, he enjoyed his 1968 Road Runner muscle car, baking his sweets, and making turkey jerky.He was preceded in death by his parents.Marc is survived by his wife Kathryn, his daughter Kimberly Dawn Clark, a sister Nanette Adler and her husband Gary, two nephews Brent Adler and Lyle Adler.In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center and sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
