

Margery Ward Ross of Boulder, CO died August 25, 2006 at Manor Care in Boulder. She was 93.Margery was born March 24, 1913 in Wilmington, Ohio to Charlie and Anna (Hazard) Ward. She grew up and attended school in Wilmington. She then attended Wilmington College where she earned her Bachelor?s Degree in 1935. Margery married Eugene F. Ross in Wilmington on July 3, 1939.Mrs. Ross taught High School English for 20 years in Wilmington and Springfield, Ohio. She then worked in her husband?s medical clinic in Lindsay, Oklahoma along with her husband for 15 years. Dr. and Mrs. Ross were very involved with the community and were instrumental in building the Lindsay Hospital and public library.Dr. and Mrs. Ross moved to Miami, Florida when they retired. Margery moved to the Boulder area in 1995. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and had a very strong faith. She was proud of her membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also was an avid antique collector.Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother, Don Ward.Margery is survived by two sons: Fred Ross and his wife Sandy of Niwot, Colorado and Tom Ross of Miami, Florida; four grandchildren: Jeannie Eifert, Christopher, Zachary, and T. J. Ross; and two great grandchildren: Carlee and Morgan Eifert.No local services are planned for Mrs. Ross. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary of Longmont.Memorial contributions may be given to Manor Care Memorial Fund, 2800 Palo Parkway, Boulder, CO 80301.
