Marian Elaine Price

Marian E. Price, age 87 of Longmont went to her final resting place Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Life Care Center of Longmont. She was born May 20, 1926 in Cosby, Missouri to D.R. and Alma (Krause) Heath. Marian grew up and married in Northwest Missouri. Marian, her husband, Ira and family relocated to Longmont in 1955. Though she raised her family and made many new friends in Colorado, she kept her connection with family and friends in Missouri throughout her years.

Marian’s greatest profession was to give love, take care and raise her family. She retired from Beach Aircraft and Ball Aerospace in 1988. Marian enjoyed close friends both in Boulder Colorado and Wichita, Kansas.

Marian loved fishing and continued to fish until her early 80s. Marian rode her Harley Davidson motorcycle on many excursions. She enjoyed camping, bird watching, all types of dancing, sewing, embroidery and crocheting. Marian learned to quilt after retirement and made many quilts for her family. She loved vacationing in Lake Powell, traveling in the United States, Mexico and one trip to Europe. Her family, grandkids and great grandkids were her biggest joy. She loved to cook and made many happy family dinners. Marian was a happy person and she loved to joke and play tricks; she had the best sense of humor.

Marian in survived by two daughters and one son and families; Diane Beno (Nick) of Denver and Sharon (Sherri) Brammer (John) of Johnstown, David Price (Terri) of Fort Collins, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, a brother Dewey and 2 sisters Katherine and Janice of Missouri and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home, Longmont with Pastor Cris Crisfield officiating. Services will conclude at the church.
