Private family services will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Burial at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
Marilyn was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Marie Georgina Turmo & Stanley Theodore Severtson on June 5th, 1944. She went to school in Mitchell, South Dakota. She married William D. McEntee on January 4th,
1963 in South Dakota. She worked as a aid at Foothills Care Center in Longmont, CO for several years before dedicating herself to homemaking.
She was a patron of Bethlehem Lutheran Church also in Longmont, Colorado. A devoted and loving mother, Marilyn was enthralled with raising her three children and rearing her seven grandchildren, and one great grandson. Marilyn had the heart of a warrior in the face of many hardships, including multiple sclerosis, breast cancer, and fighting and beating the current covid-19 epidemic. Through her afflictions, Marilyn held herself
with an unmatched grace, never letting herself lose any of the charm or kindness that so many came to love about her, becoming the adopted grandma to so many. Marilyn was a true sport, enduring the many antics that her grandchildren liked to play with her. Marilyn will be missed by many, but her spirit will live on through all of those she touched.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband William, her brothers Leonard & Ronald, mother Marie & father Stanley.
Marilyn is survived by her brother Bob Severtson; children: (Jeff McEntee (son), Lori & Greg Orr (daughter), and Lisa McEntee (daughter). Grandchildren: Anthony & Katie McEntee, Adrian Vigil, Jordan & Ivy
McEntee, Alec & Shana Orr, Taylor Orr, Justin & Briana McEntee. As well as great grandson Connor Logan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colorado.
