

Mark Scott Donaldson of Longmont died November 19, 2008, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was 56.Mark was born on September 29, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to Arthur Donaldson and Marilyn Jones Donaldson. After graduating from high school, he attended technical school.Mark was affiliated with ValleyLab and more recently Covidien, as a Medical Trainer. He has been with the Biomedical field for 25 years. He was certified as a Master Trainer, training those to use medical equipment provided by his company, worldwide.Mark was married to Carolyn Brown on July 3, 1982. They were later divorced. He was married to Laura Tajbl Ogren.Mark enjoyed many passions. An avid golfer he traveled the front range playing many golf courses with his friends and co-workers. He was quick with a joke and trying to keep family and friends on the lighter side. He enjoyed outdoor activities including boating and being near water. He was a faithful follower of the University of Colorado football team. Surviving are his wife Laura of Longmont; two daughters Susan Ann Haggas of Berthoud and Tara Linnea Donaldson of Denver; two step children Eric Ogren of Longmont and Tara Elaine Ogren of Florida; two grandchildren Hannah and Harrison Haggas of Berthoud; a sister Deb DeCook and her husband David, an uncle Tom Jones of Detroit, Michigan; and a father in law Richard Tajbl of Boulder.A Celebration of Life and open house will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the family home, 1428 Whitehall Dr., Longmont, CO 80501.Contributions may be made to the Longmont Humane Society, 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, CO 80501
