

Marla was born January 26, 1932 in Gooding, Idaho to Grover Marlatt and Amy Hulbert Marlatt. Marla was raised by her mother and her loving step father Everand C. “Bud” Jensen and had a sister Ann Combs and a brother Cliffton E. Jensen still residing in Southern Idaho.
Marla graduated from Helena Sr. High School in Helena, Montana where she met her High School Sweetheart Harold E. “Hal” Lehfeldt. They were married September 1, 1950. Their family was complete with their four children, Brenda Lea, Amy Ann, Paul Harold, and Lisa Lane. Marla was a homemaker and her main goal in life was to raise her children to be loving, responsible adults.
Marla was an adventurous traveler, traveling all over the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean with her husband and kids. Striving to make every adventure an educational one for her kids. Marla was an exceptional seamstress. Sewing everything from baby layettes and diapers to the most exquisite formals for her daughters (so they wouldn’t meet themselves at the prom) which led her to one of her favorite jobs as Seamstress and Designer at Das Wedding Haus in Longmont and Loveland. She was a licensed Inhalation Therapist better known today as a Respiratory Therapist. She was also, an avid skier making sure all her children were good skiers. Most of all she was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family and even some who weren't.
Marla and Harold were married for “228 Seasons”. Marla waited “24 Seasons” to be with her lifelong love after Harold passed away in June of 2009.
Marla is survived by her sister Ann Combs of Wendell, Idaho, her brother Cliffton E. Jensen (Suzanne) of Hagerman, Idaho. Her children Brenda (Harris) Lehenbauer of Loveland, Colorado, Amy (Jeff) Brown of Hagerman, Idaho, Paul (Laura) Lehfeldt of Phoenix, Arizona, and Lisa (Randy) Young of Greeley, Colorado, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. “Hal” Lehfeldt, her parents, a niece, and one great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held at The Summer Park Clubhouse (6922 W. 3rd St., Greeley, Colorado 80634) on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 am followed by a lunch reception.
