Michal Lee Ekdahl

Michal Lee Ekdahl was born on June 30th, 1962 in Holdredge, Nebraska to Dennis and Connie (Monk) Ekdahl. He grew up in Western Nebraska. He graduated from Holyoke High School in Holyoke, Colorado in 1980. From there he had multiple business adventures doing everything from being a waiter to building houses to helping out on the local farms. He married Kenda (Nelson) Ekdahl in June 15th, 1985.

He then started his own business in 1987 installing Lawn Sprinklers in North Platte, Nebraska and surrounding areas. He grew this business into landscaping, earth moving, and maintaining and selling T&L Pivots. He then started Oasis Turf Farm in North Platte, Nebraska in 2010. He then bought his Sod Farm, named Sunny Slope Sod Farm in 2013 in Longmont, Colorado. He became well known with local businesses and customers for his caring attitude. He enjoyed watching Nascar and Football with his family. He enjoyed target shooting and learning about guns with his family. Most of all he enjoyed his farm, growing crops with his family.

Michal was preceded in death by his Mother.

Michal is survived by his wife Kenda Ekdahl, his two sons Michal and Matthew Ekdahl, his brother David and his wife Dawn Ekdahl, his bother-in-law Troy and his wife Betsy Nelson, his nieces Ashley Ekdahl and Mackensie Nelson, his nephews Riley and Connor Nelson, and his father Dennis Ekdahl.
