
NORMAN FRANCIS WYNN, of Berthoud, CO, died June 12 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 73 years old.Norm was born on March 4, 1936 in Marsville, KS to Francis Chester Wynn and Emma Genzler. He was raised in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School where he participated in basketball and baseball. Following high school he joined the U.S. Army. He proudly served in Germany in military intelligence.Norm returned to Marysville where he met and married the love of his life, Shirley Sipple. They were wed on August 6, 1960 in Marysville at St. Gregory Church.Norm worked in retail sales in the Midwest for a number of years. His love for sales and people led him to a wholesales sales representative position. He and his wife took on a number of lines, traversing the country selling to their loyal customers and clients.The family moved in 1976 from Kansas to Colorado where he enjoyed hunting and fishing in the mountains. Norm was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont, COPreceding him in death were his parents and infant daughter Melissa Wynn.Surviving are his wife of Berthoud, two sons Mike (Sandy) Wynn of Albuquerque and Mark Wynn of Berthoud; two daughters Michelle (Mark) McCaddon of Longmont and Marsha (John) Birkland of Windsor; two sisters Carol Oom and Sharon Roggenkamp both of Sabetha, KS; and thirteen grandchildren.Visitation hours will be from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18 at the Howe Mortuary in Longmont, CORosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont, CO wit the Reverend Brian Morrow officiating.Contributions may be made to Children's Hospital Research Foundation in memory of Melissa Wynn.
