Pamela Jeanne (Malsbury) was born on May 15, 1942 to Helen Jeanne Ranor and Havilliah Benton Malsbury, in San Francisco California. She was a happy child and often the subject focus of her photographer father. Due to family interference, her parents divorced when Pam was about 4 years old. Helen remarried on October 27, 1947 to Thomas Dennis Razovich, who legally adopted Pamela, changing her surname to Razovich. In time, Helen and Tom added two siblings to Pamela’s world, two sisters, Cynthia and Lizbeth, who Pam loved completely.
Growing up she was outgoing and fun. She’d play cowboys and Indians with the boys, perfected the art of mud pies (which she dutifully taught to her younger sisters), have “dress-up” tea parties with the girls, and want to be involved with whatever “ball” game the boys were playing (to which her father was horrified by). And she ran; she loved to run. In fact, she took great pride in beating the boys to wherever they were off to, in spontaneous foot races. She won every time!
As she entered Cappuccino High School, she did whatever “sport” her father would allow a proper young lady to pursue. Cheerleading, Flag girl with marching band, and swimming…. and dancing! She would have her friends over to the house, roll up the rug, throw on a record, and dance! As such, she had a stunning figure. By her senior year she was in the Miss Millbrae pageant, but came in second, due to a “certain” father obnoxiously proclaiming that his daughter was the best! Apparently, judges don’t appreciate that, and neither do their daughters.
After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert C. Schofield, on July 28, 1961. A few years later, on December 25, 1963, she gave birth to her first child, Dennis, who was her whole world. Their bond as mother and son would strengthen and endure as her marriage fell apart.
Pam remarried on February 14, 1970 to a Fireman, William E. Flowerday. This blended family brought a girl and two more boys to the marriage; Denise, Billy, and Bobby. Pam loved being a mother, and this family loved to play sports! Football, baseball, basketball, waterskiing, snow skiing; she was in heaven. But she wanted one more child. After several miscarriages, she gave birth to a daughter, Tracy, on October 13, 1976 and finally felt her family was complete. Sadly, Bill Flowerday’s alcoholism would end their marriage 5 years later.
Pam, however, never gave up, and never lost hope. She returned to her childhood faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her notebooks are filled with her writings; impressions she would receive while reading the scriptures, and the teachings of Jesus Christ taught at the pulpit of General Conference. She had a fervent testimony of Jesus Christ’s Atonement for her and His plan of happiness for her and her family. She never claimed to understand everything, but to what she did know, she held onto with every fiber of her being. Her testimony of Jesus Christ gave her strength to go on when all the things in her life told her to give up. She served faithfully within the church in many different capacities until Alzheimer’s began to claim her memories a few years ago. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, surrounded by her children. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Kim), Tracy (James); and her grandchildren: Lance (Jennifer), Jordan (Eduardo), Nicki, Hunter (Kaylee), Tanner, Wayne, and Will; and Great grandchildren: Harper, Sam, Nolan, and Tucker.
