Patricia Jean Reinig

Patricia Jean Patty Reinig, 73, of Longmont died November 28, 2011 at home. She was born November 17, 1938 in Mannington, West Virginia to Arnold A. and Doris I (Vaughan) Bochert.Patty moved to Denver, Colorado with her family in 1952.She graduated from Westminster High School in 1958. Patty married Alfons Reinig Sr. on November 11, 1961 in Westminster, Colorado. They then moved to Boulder into the home Al built for them with his brothers. Patty worked for Safeway in the produce department, flower department, and front end checker at the Boulder store at 28th and Arapah for 28 years when she retired. Her crowning achievement, however, was attaining her Certified Nurse Assistant in 1996 where she lived out her passion helping the elderly live in their homes through private home health care. Patty was a member of The Valley Bible Baptist Church in Arvada for over 30 years until Pastor J.D. Waddle was called home to heaven. Then she became a member of The Bible Baptist Church of Erie where she served making flower arrangements for the altar; she enjoyed Elvis Presley music and had a healthy addiction to electronics. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters Evelyn Haley and Sandy Bochert.Patty is survived by her husband Alfons Reinig Sr. of Longmont, son Alfons Reinig Jr. and wife Kristi, and granddaughters Rylie O'Keefe and McKenna O'Keefe of Littleton, CO; daughter Christl Reinig-Everett and husband Michael of Johnstown, and grandchildren Jessie Jess Lambert and wife Sarah, and great granddaughter Emma Rose of Erie, CO; Thomas Tom Tibbals of Greeley, CO; Samantha Sam Tibbals of Loveland, CO; three brothers Arnold Butch Bochert and wife Marge of N.C., Louie D'Andrea and wife Pam of Thornton, CO, and Clinton Teddy Bochert and wife Linda of Washington.Visitation will be 4 to 7 PM Thursday Dec. 1, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 AM Friday Dec. 2 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Green Mountain Cemetery Boulder.
