Patrick M. Doud

Patrick M. Doud of Longmont, Colorado died July 20, 2011 at his home. He was 50.He was born on September 24, 1960 in Staples, Minnesota, the son of Jesse and Jeanette (Rice) Doud. Patrick graduated from Staples High School in 1979 and Moorhead State University in 1983. He moved to Longmont in 2005 from Minnesota. Patrick worked for many years as a teacher at elementary schools and as a varsity coach. He also coached football at Skyline High School. He was attending Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette. Patrick enjoyed hiking, tennis, watching and playing sports, especially football and the Minnesota Vikings, coaching, boating and playing with his children. He was preceded in death by two sisters.Patrick is survived by his daughters, Piper and Mckinzie Doud and their mother, Nicolette Doud, all of Longmont; his son and daughter, Joshua and Addison Doud, both of Ph nix, Arizona; a brother, Guy Rice Doud and a niece and nephews in the Minnesota area.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
